How to get to the Museum?

The Museum is located in Pianello del Lario, on the western shore of Lake Como, just 11 km north of Menaggio. Starting from Como drive north along the SS 340 for 45 km, once you get to Cremia watch out for the road on the right for Pianello del Lario (just before the tunnel). Keep driving for 1 km and the museum will be on your right.

Arriving from Lecco, take the new S.S. 36 to Colico-Sondrio. Near Colico, after the Villatico tunnel, take the exit on your right for Chiavenna - Colico. Continue towards Morbegno - Chiavenna - Menaggio, then to Menaggio - Sorico. You will find yourself on the Strada Statale 340 heading south. Drive through the towns of Sorico, Gera Lario, Domaso, Gravedona and Dongo. Close to the southern end of the lakefront in the historic centre of Dongo take the  small tunnel on your right with the sign Musso-Pianello. The museum will be about 2.5 km on your left.
